About The Math Court
The Math Court is a revolutionary teaching and learning initiative designed to transform the classroom into an arena of justice. We do not believe in math for math’s sake. We believe in applied logic. By using real-life legal cases as the foundation for mathematical instruction, we mathematics and legal literacy of students, teachers, and parents.
A New Way to Learn: The Case-Study Method
For most students, Math is very abstract, difficult boring and irreelvant, and they often ask, "When will I ever use this?" At The Maths Court, we use the law and math to solve real-life problems, thereby making Math more practical and relatable. For each case study, we explain the legal jargon in court cases and show how Math is used mainly in family law disputes to arrive at a just solution. In the process both the Math Court, the answer is: "To defend your rights."
The Three Pillars of the Math Court
Every lesson plan and "Math Court" worksheet is built upon our three foundational principles:
TRUTH: We use real evidence and facts to ground our learning.
LOGIC: We use mathematical precision as the key to solving complex human problems.
GRACE: We deliver this initiative as a gift (Ex Gratia) to restore the integrity of education.

The R&D Component
To ensure our teaching methods remain at the cutting edge of global standards, The Math Court is supported by a dedicated Research and Development (R&D) hub. We constantly analyze the impact of our case-study methods to ensure that every student who enters the Math Court leaves with the quantitative literacy needed to navigate the modern world.
